Everyone else thinks

My friend bought his first car - a 1972 VW Bug with a bumper sticker that read:

Jesus loves you

everyone else thinks you're an asshole

Every week a member of our church would pull him aside and ask him to remove it. He would agree each time but he never removed it.

He passed away two Christmases ago. A few days before he died we got into an argument about faith. He ended the argument with the words:

"All I know is, Jesus Christ is Lord."
